Switching agent

Moving your property to a managing agent who answers

Most landlords who switch tell us the same thing: nothing was wrong exactly, but nobody told them anything. Switching mid-tenancy is often possible, subject to your existing agreement.

How the switch works

  1. 01

    Review

We look at the tenancy, the property and your current agreement, including notice terms.

  2. 02

    Information transfer

Tenancy agreement, deposit details, safety documentation, inventory, rent record and maintenance history.

  3. 03

    Tenant introduction

Your tenant is introduced to their named Property Manager and told exactly what changes.

  4. 04

    Set-up

Property onboarded to the landlord dashboard, compliance dates loaded and approval thresholds agreed.

  5. 05

    Live management

Rent, maintenance, inspections and compliance run under your new package.

What we will need

  • · A copy of your current management agreement
  • · The tenancy agreement and any renewals
  • · Deposit protection details
  • · Current safety documentation and expiry dates
  • · The inventory and check-in report
  • · Rent payment history and any arrears position
  • · Open maintenance cases and contractor details

Whether and when you can switch depends on your existing contract. We will not advise you to breach an agreement, and where the position is unclear we recommend specialist legal advice.
